At Watersedge Dental Laboratory, we restore Neodent implant cases for dentists in Ottawa and across Canada, including cases on the Grand Morse platform and Zi ceramic system.
If you have a patient with a Neodent implant and want a laboratory that restores it on the manufacturer’s own components, that’s part of our everyday dental implant restoration work.
We accept Neodent cases in many ways: conventional impressions, or by digital case submission from an intraoral scan via the scanner system itself or exported scan files shared by email or file transfer system.
We don’t substitute aftermarket components on implant systems, so you can be confident every case is restored with same-on-same parts.
When a Neodent case is booked, the most important questions are: will the restoration be here when you told your patient it would, and can you reach someone who actually knows the case? We’ve built our implant workflows around both.
Neodent organizes its portfolio around prosthetic connections rather than individual implant names. Here are the ones we restore:
If you’re not certain which system or diameter is in the mouth, submit an inquiry. Our team can help identify the system and confirm whether it can be legally restored in Canada.
Need an impression coping for your traditional impression or a scan body for your digital impression and not sure how to order one?
We can help! We are very familiar with ordering impression copings and scan bodies for dental offices. All we ask is that you email us your request for:
Sending you the impression coping (closed or open tray) or scan body. Please also attach from the patient’s file the surgeon’s report or a copy of the implant identification stickers from surgery, and the healing abutment sticker (if available).
From there, let us know when you need it by, and we will have it sent to you. Please note that from the time of submitting the request, it may take a full business week before you receive the part(s) because we may not have it in stock. If you need it sooner, please give us a call or add that note to your request in the email.
Looking to do a traditional impression and not sure which impression coping would be best between open or closed tray? Please give us a call, and we can expand on these two options to better help you decide which is best for you and your patient’s situation.
We accept digital cases from major platforms:
Don’t see yours here? We can likely still help; just give us a call.
Setup instructions for each are on our digital case submission page; after submission, you can communicate with our CAD/CAM department directly.
For a Neodent scan, include the scan body seated and fully captured, the surrounding tissue, the opposing arch and a bite registration. An incomplete scan body capture is the most common reason a digital implant case stalls.
Our digital threshold is half an arch, or up to three implants. Beyond that, we’ll usually ask for a conventional impression or a verification jig, but we’ll tell you before we start. Have multiple implants with multi-unit abutments and want to keep the digital workflow? Let’s do the scan together with photogrammetry.
Prescription forms and case guides are in our resource library.
NeoArch is Neodent’s immediate fixed full-arch protocol on the Grand Morse connection. For cases like these, we can support you from preliminary planning through surgery to delivery of the final prosthesis.
We work in every approach, from traditional analog to high-touch full digital workflows, and everything in between. This includes photogrammetry, and digital treatment planning and surgical guides.
What’s interesting is that the population for this work is changing shape. Complete tooth loss among Canadians aged 60 to 79 fell from 22% to 8% between 2007 and 2024, as treatment practice moved away from extraction and toward preserving natural teeth.
Fewer patients arrive fully edentulous, yet 27.6% of adults have replaced missing teeth with dental prostheses and 4.4% have none of their own left.
In-lab days represent the full amount of time needed in the lab; this does not include the day we receive the case, nor the delivery day/courier time.
Scheduling matters more than it used to. One year into the Canadian Dental Care Plan, the Canadian Institute for Health Information reports more than 4 million Canadians approved for coverage and 2 million already treated, with over 25,600 oral health providers participating.
This means schedules are busier and coordination is more complex, making a dental laboratory with excellent communication essential to your business.
We don’t substitute aftermarket parts onto your implant system. We restore Neodent cases on Neodent components.
We’re located in Ottawa, so a time-sensitive Neodent restoration never sits in customs waiting to cross a border.
Our Crown & Bridge, CAD/CAM, Ceramics, Removables and Quality Assurance departments each have direct contacts.
A minor stain adjustment usually turns around in about 24 hours, and a full remake in roughly three to five business days.
We keep implant toolkits at the laboratory and loan them to local clients.
We've completed hundreds of Neodent restorations, so your case won't be the one we learn the platform on.
Yes. Grand Morse is Neodent’s current connection, and one prosthetic connection covers every GM diameter, so we don’t need the diameter to start planning components.
Send us a radiograph. Our team can help identify the system and confirm whether it can be legally restored in Canada. If it turns out not to be Neodent, we’ll tell you what it is.
Yes. We won’t substitute aftermarket components on your implant system: the same restorative components on the same type of implant.
Yes, including cases on the ZiLock connection.
10 in-lab days. If it’s a rush case, let us know, and we might be able to expedite it.
Yes. We accept iTero, TRIOS (3Shape), Medit, Heron (3Disc), Prime Scan (Dentsply Sirona), SIRIOS (Straumann), and DEXIS (Carestream). Include the scan body, the tissue, the opposing arch and a bite registration. Don’t see yours here? Give us a call!
Yes. We still restore Cone Morse cases, including older Titamax and Alvim work. A patient treated years ago doesn’t need to find a different laboratory now.
Submit a new client inquiry, and we’ll set up your account, walk your team through digital submission, and talk through your first case before it arrives.
You don’t need a whole new workflow to work with us.
Simply send the impression or scan you already took, tell us what the case needs, and we’ll confirm the components before we fabricate anything.
